Decorate with Dark Teal Rug

Apr 25th

Dark teal rug – The mat can help determine the design theme of a room, making an area cozy and inviting, or modern and sophisticated. Light or neutral colored carpets are a common choice for most homes; it allows a room’s decor scheme to include a number of colors, if desired.

Hang curtains in the room to contrast with the dark teal rug. If you use black and white as your color scheme, white curtains are an additional option, as are white curtains with black stripes. Place on a sofa in the room in the same color family as the curtains. A white sofa looks striking in a room with dark teal rug and white draperies; a gray sofa will complement a black-carpeted room with silver curtains.

Put a chair in the corner that fits the color scheme. If you want to include bright colors in the room, a Kelly green or cherry red chair pop against dark teal rug. Place an area rug in the middle of the room for a break in the texture of the dark carpet and to further emphasize the other colors in the room. A woven beige carpet is particularly striking, while a pink rug will add a burst of color.

Place a small table on top of the area rug. A coffee table made of wood that is painted white will provide dramatic contrast to a room with a dark carpet, although other colors are included in the interior system. Add a centerpiece in the table that matches the table size and introduces more color to the room.
